Our Vision:
The
Pilot Mound Library strives to provide high quality, sustainable service.
The knowledgeable staff are friendly and competent and are available to
assist you.
Events:
Book sales of outdated, used books are held on a continuing basis at the
front of the library. The Mini Mall sale of new, unused books are held in
November of each year at the Kin Centre, next to the library location.
Internet Usage:
Use of the Community Connection computer high speed internet service is
free to all residents of Pilot Mound. Non-members are required to pay a fee
of $1 per half hour or $2 per hour for internet access. Internet time is
limited to one hour and should be booked in advance by calling the library
at 825-2035. Parental authorization must be obtained by those under the age
of 18 to comply with the provincial standards. The Acceptable Use Policy
must be adhered to by any and all users of the internet.
Printing:
Printing service is available in black at .10 cents per page.
Technology Services:
Along with our in-library
computer services, we also have a number of computer related products that
are available for our members to sign out for home use when needed. We
have one of each of the following items which are available free of charge to library members:
- Notebook Computer
- Digital Camera (still)
- Video Camera
- Video Projector
Memberships:
Library membership is free to any resident of Pilot Mound. Non-residents
may join the library with a membership fee of $20 for six months or $40 for
one year.
Library Hours:
Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Remember:
One who doesn’t read
has no advantage over one who cannot read!
